“No Snitching” Is a Code of Honor!
The streets have a code of ethics that if deviated from, debases the whole street movement that in part, was formed to combat the oppressive nature of white America. The pillar of “not snitching” serves as a part of the foundation of Black culture that was built in absence of Civil Rights fighters after our leaders were assassinated in the late 1960s. To make snitching the norm would be to cripple our foundation and bring down the building in which things like Hip-Hop, our culture’s strongest asset to date, is built on. Those who advocate for snitching advocate that not only should we destroy our current foundation, but we should build a new one, where snitching is accepted as the norm. Not only do they want our building to come toppling down like the Twin Towers, but they want to replace it with a building that favors white supremacy in that the most affected by snitching is the Black Man because he is the most targeted by law enforcement and with the rhetoric that snitching is the “ultimate good”.

If you wanna tell, then consider yourself a civilian, that’s all.
There’s been several instances when snitching has adversely affected the black culture such as when informants infiltrated our Civil Rights movements and caused it’s leaders to conflict with each other and eventually succumb to assassination. Take this into consideration, Judas Iscariot snitched on Jesus Christ, and we all know that Jesus was Black…
